The Social Cantin like a little community

The Social Cantin a little community what is an oasis to those persons and families who suffer from
the misery,unemployment or live with a short pension or minimum wages.
How my situation obliged me to ask for the help of maintenance to I shouldn´t lost the condition of my life, I found the Social Cantin of the Parochial of the Quarteira the spring of the year 2013,what working with harvesting of the foods and with the help of the Churche,Food Fundation,Fishing Association and the charity of the people and all comitte.
I facilitated the Sister´s works with my voluntaring work for their help how to peel the vegetables,
to select the fruits,to clean the tables and chairs and more.

This work gave many result:we can take advantage of more vegetables what   enter with harvesting and we put in outside much less,the situation of the fruits the same we haven't many decayed fruits.

Social Security and the Home of the Center Parochial of the Quarteira gave possibility to have a contract of the job-insertion together and this way I didn't lost my subsidy and I attained more stability and continued my work in the cantin more one year.

I puted in order in the warehouse also, all  

offering furnitires and things will be with a good condition to the people who has shortages in their home.

The charity of the population,solidality of the other institutions and the Center Parochial help us to receive suit of clothes and foot-wears, those persons and families who has something lacks will be possibilities to choose some stocks and haven't need to spend money.

We gathered the offering toys to the children and this way they  can receive a Christmas present also.

The Sisters have lot of work in the kitchen where they preparate the hot meals and the bags with food of the people to the domicile.

The responsible of the Social Cantin Mr.Antonio Couve serve the hot meals together with the Sisters every day.

Many people can recuparate their life with this care what this cantin give with the Mr.Antonio's team who working in this little community.

We had a nice Christmas together with our problems but without feel our shortages.
